Accessibility at House of Coates

We want everyone to be able to read about House of Coates, see our menus and reach us. We build this website to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we test it with automated tools and by hand, including keyboard-only use.

What we do

• Text is sized and colored to be readable, and pages work when you zoom in.
• Every page can be used with a keyboard, and there is a link at the top to skip to the main content.
• The lunch and dinner menus are written out as text on the page, not shown as pictures.
• Photos have descriptions.
• Motion on the site respects your device’s “reduce motion” setting.

What we are still working on

We do not claim the site is perfect. Some content comes from other companies, such as the Google map and Facebook, and we cannot always control how they work.

Tell us if something is hard to use

Call (651) 437-2232 and tell us the page and what happened. We will work on a fix, and give you the information another way, over the phone or in person.
